Alumni Return to Campus for Career Day

Santa Margarita’s annual Alumni Career Day welcomed over forty alumni back to the Nest.

The class of 2025 had the opportunity to hear a panel discussion on topics ranging from college majors to interviewing for jobs. Students then introduced themselves to alumni and connected with them on any questions they had about certain industries.

“Career Day is a celebration of so many talented alumni returning to campus to share their experience in work, education, and journey,” said Patrick Keane ’91, Alumni Relations, and moderator of the Career Day panel. “It’s wonderful for the students to see how many different paths are out there after they leave the gates of Santa Margarita.”

The day concluded with breakout sessions in which students could dive further into their questions about the different industries our alumni work within. Sessions were divided around campus on topics from marketing and medical to public service and sports broadcasting.

“We encourage alumni of every level to return at some point to participate since our students benefit greatly from talking with all types, from CFOs to entrepreneurs, small business owners, entry-level positions, and recent college graduates,” said Keane.
