Celebrating Excellence: Senior Awards Night 2025
Senior Awards Night recognized the incredible achievements of the class of 2025. The night was filled with celebration, excitement, and tradition as seniors were acknowledged for their accomplishments.
The Caritas Award is one of the most prestigious awards a senior can receive. It was founded over 25 years ago by former SMCHS physics teacher Ed Cunningham, who believed it isn’t about what you do but about who you are.
Fallon Boyle ‘25 is this year’s Caritas Award recipient. During her four years at SM, Fallon left a lasting imprint on numerous areas of campus just by being herself. She won awards at MUN conferences, led many retreats, played varsity basketball and flag football, held ASB leadership roles, and, outfitted in a yellow suit, coached the student team at our annual student versus faculty basketball game. More than her involvements, though, Fallon is genuinely kind, committed to showing up for her classmates, and has a truly humble servant heart.
SMCHS staff member McKenna Sulick '18 said she is "happy we have a student like Fallon at SM."
“Fallon Boyle is the type of person that has been and will continue to be an incredible example for our students. After working with Fallon on her college essays, I was struck not only by how easy it was to work with her, but how remarkable I found her to be. Joyful, grounded, always thinking of others, deeply compassionate and evidently light-filled, Fallon is the true embodiment of Caritas Christi.”
Additionally, the recipient is given a financial award donated by an SMCHS alumni and former Caritas Award winner; the recipient receives $3,000 toward their college tuition and $2,000 to designate to a Catholic/Christian charity of their choice.
